Cape Audio graduate & Red Bull Head engineer returns for guest lecture.

Recently we had the opportunity to bring in one of our past graduates who is doing quite well for themselves. Steve Elswoth (AKA Audiophile 021) popped in for a visit yesterday reveling some of his secrets to our Modern music production course students.  Steve has been busy since he left us over 8 years ago. As Audiophile 021 he has performed all over the country and at most of your favorite festivals. Cape Town Electronic Music Festival Day 2 Highlights

 

The second day of the Red Bull studio workshops went underway yesterday as part of the build up to the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival hosted at the V&A Waterfront. Red Bull at Cape Audio

The Plastics are busy recording 3 singles with Red Bull Studios for a film on the Cape Town music scene, under the working title ‘a Monkeys Wedding’. Steve Elsworth (Audiophile 021), ex Cape Audio College in more than one way, having been one of the top students in his year, he was successively employed here and worked his way up to becoming the Head Electronic Music Programing Instructor.
