Solid State Logic Joins the 500 Craze
Recently SSL announced they would be building EQ and Dynamic Units for the famed API 500 form factor, for those of you out of the loop the API 500 form factor is a type of portable Rack that can house 6 units inside it none of them necessarily have to be the same so you can mix and match your lunchbox to your heart’s content, now the reason why SSL making 500 units is a big deal is because of the X-Rack. The X-Rack is SSL’s own answer to the 500 lunchbox form factor and its key difference is the total recall that SSL has implemented on the X-rack which lets you recall all the settings from previous sessions other than that differences are the 8 units space on the X-Rack vs 6 on the API lunchbox and the 18V on the X rack and the 16V on the API.
